BANKING SYSTEM OF UKRAINE: CURRENT SITUATION AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT
Анотація
The subject of the article is a set of questions concerning the problems of the banking system of Ukraine at the present stage.<br> The purpose of the article is to analyze the processes associated with the functioning of the banking system at the present stage and its impact on the development of Ukraine's economy. Methods that were used in the research process: analysis, generalization, deduction was used in the work.<br> Results: The main tasks and directions of functioning of the banking system in modern conditions are established. The reasons and consequences of the change in the number of banking institutions for the last period are analyzed, the loan and deposit portfolios of Ukrainian banks, as well as their main types of income and expenses of banks are analyzed. Ways to improve the functioning of the banking system have been identified.
