MANAGEMENT OF IT SERVICES AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF COMMERCIAL PROCESSES IN UKRAINE UNDER CURRENT CHALLENGES

Анотація

This article explores the current state and strategic development of IT services and the digital transformation of commercial processes in Ukraine under the extraordinary conditions of full-scale war. Despite infrastructure disruptions, human capital losses, forced relocations, and growing security threats, the IT sector has demonstrated exceptional resilience, remaining one of the most stable and adaptive components of the national economy. It continues to contribute significantly to GDP and exports, while also supporting key functions of public administration through digital platforms. The study highlights the transformative role of remote work models, cloud-based infrastructures, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies in maintaining business continuity and ensuring the operability of public digital services. Through a comprehensive SWOT analysis, the research identifies core strengths and vulnerabilities of the Ukrainian IT sector, alongside emerging opportunities and persistent external threats. The integration of findings into a TOWS matrix allowed for the formulation of strategic directions to strengthen sectoral resilience, stimulate innovation, support domestic entrepreneurship, and deepen international cooperation. Key recommendations include the modernization of digital infrastructure, institutional support for IT startups, the development of national cybersecurity frameworks, and the inclusion of digital solutions in post-war reconstruction planning. The findings underline the importance of effective IT service management not only as a response mechanism to current challenges but also as a fundamental pillar for long-term digital sustainability and the structural recovery of Ukraine’s economy.
