Анотація

For the development of territories in Ukraine it remains important to address issues of protection of national and regional traditions and interests, maintenance of local identity, restoration of historical heritage, preservation, reproduction and efficient use of available territorial resources and more. The formation and functioning of an effective system of territorial development management at the central, regional and local levels is an integral part of any democratic state. The principles of spatial development of the territories presented in the study are broad and diverse. Spatial development of territories directly depends on the existing territorial features, so the formation of the principles of its organization requires an individual approach, despite the presence of common characteristics suitable for all territories. Given the general global trend in spatial development of territories on the basis of sustainability, taking into account the principles of sustainable development is appropriate when forming priorities for spatial development of territories in Ukraine.
