CHARACTERISTICS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES OF MYKOLAIV REGION

Анотація

The relevance of the study is determined by the need to ensure the sustainable development of territorial communities in Mykolaiv region under conditions of socio-economic transformations, military challenges, and post-crisis recovery. The aim of the article is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations of community sustainable development, taking into account economic, social, and environmental factors, as well as to assess the effectiveness of managerial, financial, and digital tools in enhancing institutional capacity. Methodologically, the study is based on systems, comparative, and statistical analysis, as well as structuralfunctional and institutional approaches, which allowed for a comprehensive evaluation of the implementation of strategic planning, the DREAM and EDEM digital platforms, environmental programs, and recovery projects. The results indicate that the digitalization of management decisions and international technical support increase the transparency and accountability of authorities, facilitate infrastructure modernization, implementation of “green” initiatives, development of human capital, and cybersecurity. At the same time, disparities in project financing and the growth of carbon dioxide emissions were identified, highlighting the need to improve environmental and investment mechanisms. The theoretical significance lies in the systematization of the factors of community sustainable development, considering digitalization and the integration of economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The practical significance is expressed in the applicability of the results for planning recovery initiatives, modernizing public services, and implementing digital platforms. The study concludes that enhancing the effectiveness of strategic planning, integrating digital tools, and leveraging international technical support form the basis for the restoration and development of territorial communities. Prospects for further research include the development of an integrated sustainable development management model adapted to the specific conditions of Ukrainian regions in the post-war period.
