Economic and legal foundations of public control of the activities oflocal governments in Ukraine

Анотація

The subject of research –a set of organizational and legal relations that arise in the process of creating a system of public control of the activities of local self-government bodies in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is the statement of the problem of the need to define and legislatively establish the concept of public control of the local government in Ukraine. The article suggests possible effective ways of carrying out public control over the activity of representatives of local self-government. Methodology of work – system-structural analysis of the legal support of social control of the system of local self-government. Modeling and forecasting on the growth of the effectiveness of the positive interaction of society and government. The results of the work – presented the legal strategy and technology of implementation a social control over local self-government. Conclusions –system of effective use of legal possibilities in the sphere of ofsocial control over the actions of elected local authorities and as a consequence of social-economic development of the region
