The theoretical and applied foundations for developing a socio-investment strategy for human capital development, as a key factor in enhancing enterprise competitiveness, are investigated. The essence of human capital is revealed as a dynamic asset formed through targeted investments in knowledge, skills, health, and employee motivation, ensuring long-term economic returns. The transformation of approaches to personnel management from a cost-based to an investment-based model is substantiated by the integration of social, organizational, and economic instruments into a unified strategic system. Modern directions of social investment are analyzed, including the development of educational potential, support for physical and psychological health, formation of corporate culture, and motivational mechanisms. It has been proven that investments in employee well-being, occupational safety, and the organizational environment directly impact key performance indicators, including productivity, innovation activity, employee engagement, and financial results. It is established that the effectiveness of a socio-investment strategy is ensured by its systemic nature, continuity, and integration into corporate governance. The mechanism for implementing a socio-investment strategy is generalized, comprising the stages of analytical preparation, planning, implementation, and performance control, with performance monitored against relevant efficiency indicators. It is found that the synergy of investments in well-being, safety, and corporate culture forms sustainable human capital capable of ensuring enterprise adaptability to external challenges and generating added value. Attention is paid to the specifics of enterprise functioning under conditions of instability, where preserving human potential becomes a critical factor in economic resilience. It is proven that a socio-investment strategy for human capital development is not only an instrument of social responsibility but also a key driver of efficiency, investment attractiveness, and long-term competitiveness of an enterprise. Keywords: human capital, social investments, socio-investment strategy, competitiveness, employee well-being, labor productivity, organizational culture, personnel motivation, occupational safety, operational efficiency.
