UNIVERSITIES OF THE FUTURE: SCENARIOS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Анотація

The aim of the study is to identify scenarios for the development of higher education and actualize the problems of development of Ukrainian universities in connection with changes in the world educational space. Scenarios for the development of higher education, including under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, were considered. It was revealed that the university of the future should be adaptive to the new conditions of distance learning, cooperation with business. It has been proved that the prospects for the development of domestic higher education and the prevention of the loss of its status depend on effective cooperation and integration between education, science and business. The organizational and economic mechanism for the integration of education, science and business on the basis of the formation of an innovation ecosystem around the university is proposed. The presented developments are aimed at increasing the positive impact of scientific and educational activities on the socio-economic development of Ukraine, ensuring the training of highly qualified personnel in accordance with the needs of the country’s innovative development.
