MECHANISM OF ECONOMIC SECURITY IN THE PUBLISHING INDUSTRY

Анотація

The social development of recent decades is characterized by the active development of traditional publishing along with electronic means of communication, television and the Internet, which, accordingly, caused not only a more complete satisfaction of the information needs of consumers, but also the emergence of a number of threats and risks. Ensuring the security of the media sphere should provide for the protection of both producers and distributors of domestic information products, as well as consumers, and enable the implementation of appropriate actions in order to achieve the interests of citizens, society, the state, and defined national interests. The main goal of the information security system of Ukraine as the basis of its sustainable development is to ensure the free production and distribution of information products to meet the needs of every citizen and society as a whole, while simultaneously protecting the national media sphere from external and internal threats. A mechanism for ensuring the security of the sustainable development of the publishing business has been developed, the essence of which is that the sustainable development of the publishing business is achieved through the interaction of subjects of information security and subjects of the implementation of the state information policy of Ukraine. Sustainable development of the publishing industry is determined by interrelated components: economic, social and environmental. The main goals of the state policy to ensure the security of the publishing industry have been determined. In accordance with the specified goals, a set of priority tasks for ensuring the security of the sustainable development of the publishing business has been formulated. It has been proven that the formation of the security of the publishing business as the basis of its sustainable development depends both on the actions of information security subjects in countering and reducing the negative consequences of the implementation of internal and external threats, and on the subjects of the implementation of the state information policy of Ukraine, whose activities are aimed at the formation of favorable conditions of activity of manufacturers of publishing products.
