Strategic Priorities for Combating Corruption under Conditions of Global Financial and Economic Challengers

Socio-economic transformations, the globalization of world economic relations, the integration of Ukraine's economy into the European economic space provoke the emergence of a number of crisis phenomena and destabilizing factors in the country which have a negative impact on both the socio-economic development of the country and the society living standards. Among the most common and dangerous at the present stage are corruption and shadow economy. Today it is observed an important problem to search methods for estimation and combating corruption in the context of global financial and economic challenges. The main problems of the spread of corruption in Ukraine are indentified and the factors that directly affect it are explored in the article. A comparative analysis of the most common methods of combating corruption is carried out. The alternative methods of combating corruption in Ukraine are proposed: to intensify the implementation of the Concept of Corruption in Ukraine, to increase the opportunities and conditions for conducting small and medium-sized businesses in the official sector of the economy, to implement a mandatory justification for the sources of cash origin when purchasing goods the cost of which exceeds a predetermined amount (real estate, vehicles and luxury goods), this will allow to hold the process of combating corruption transparently and comprehensive, will allow to strengthen the competitiveness of the economy legal sector, and to achieve high indicators of socio-economic development of the country and society.
