EDUCATION QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION

Анотація

The article examines the impact of digitalization on the education quality management system in higher education institutions in the context of contemporary transformations in the educational space. It emphasizes that digital transformation is a strategic vector for the development of educational policy, contributing to the improvement of efficiency, transparency, flexibility, and adaptability of management processes in higher education institutions. The results of the study showed that the integration of digital technologies into the education quality management system optimizes internal processes of monitoring, planning, evaluating, and improving educational programs. A system of education quality management has been established, based on the principles of student-centeredness, openness, inclusiveness, feedback, and continuous improvement, in line with the concept of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). It implements a systematic approach to planning, monitoring, and responding to changes in the digital educational environment. The use of digital platforms, information and analytical systems, Big Data tools, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence contributes to the personalization of the educational process, improving the quality of educational services, the speed of management decision-making, and the development of a data culture in higher education institutions. A number of key issues have been identified that hinder the effective digital transformation of the quality management system, including uneven levels of digitization among structural units, insufficient digital competencies among participants in the educational process, and the lack of a comprehensive digital development strategy and regulatory and organizational support. The need for comprehensive modernization of digital infrastructure, the development of institutional policies for digital literacy, and the introduction of mechanisms for monitoring academic integrity and internal quality assurance has been substantiated. The proposed approach creates conceptual and organizational-methodological prerequisites for the sustainable development of the education quality management system, the integration of innovative digital technologies into the educational process, and the improvement of the digital maturity of higher education institutions and their competitiveness in the context of the global digital transformation of education.
