SCREENING OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF CONSTRUCTION PROCESSES: THEORETICAL BACKGROUND AND PROJECT ANALYTICS

Анотація

The article proposes a methodological approach to improving the energy management of construction enterprises through the calculation and study of the dynamics of a screening indicator for construction energy efficiency. For this purpose, it is proposed to use static and dynamic indicators of the efficiency of energy resource consumption for production purposes. Taking into account the specific economic characteristics of various business entities, the necessity of using value-based indicators of economic performance and energy costs, instead of physical or conventional-physical ones, is substantiated. Since the results of construction activity, which are necessarily accompanied by energy consumption, cannot always be measured in square or cubic meters of built real estate, the need to apply a screening indicator of energy efficiency not only for primary but also for auxiliary construction processes, specifically for the energy management of activities related to the erection and dismantling of temporary structures, is justified. Considering the complex simultaneous influence of many factors on the formation of construction product value, the feasibility of using integral indicators of economic performance and energy costs is grounded. The approach proposed in the article involves calculating integral indicators in the form of generalized indices, whereby the generalization of the dynamics of partial factors is carried out using power multipliers calculated as canonical coefficients. It was found that the partial factors of energy efficiency in construction production during the erection and dismantling of temporary structures are not correlated with each other; instead, they exhibit significant intergroup correlation. At the same time, the first canonical root is characterized by acceptable statistical significance and, therefore, can be used in practical calculations. Given that the screening indicator of construction energy efficiency is calculated based on a statistical value that aggregates only a certain part of the variation of primary energy return factors, the methodological approach provides for procedures for the defuzzification of predictive calculation results. Finally, it is advisable to limit the theoretical value of the dynamics of the screening energy efficiency indicator by a reliable interval, the half-width of which we have determined to be 18 p.p.
