International trade is undergoing significant changes due to the introduction of new technologies, innovations, various economic uncertainties, geopolitical shifts and cultural transformations. New prospects are emerging for many companies and alliances, but at the same time, potential risks are emerging, prompting international market participants to look for ways to avoid problems for themselves. Taken together, this forms the current state of international trade with all its advantages and disadvantages. This is the reason for the relevance of the study, as we need to understand the state of international trade in the context of global transformations in the context of constant changes. That is why the purpose of this research is to determine the specifics of the impact of global transformations on the landscape of international trade and business, to characterise changes in trade policy under the influence of global transformations, and to identify the main trends and risks that shape the future of international trade. In accordance with the defined research objective, we used the following research methods: general philosophical method, method of system analysis, synthesis, dialectical method, methods of deduction and induction. Together, these methods contributed to a detailed analysis of the issues raised and the formation of a theoretical framework for future research.
