STATUS AND TRENDS FOREST COMPLEX OF UKRAINE
Анотація
The forest industry complex (FIC), as one of the important inter-economic complexes of the national economy, requires a reasonable choice of strategic development directions. The analysis of the state of the forest industry of Ukraine, identified trends in its development. The structure of production, consumption, export and import of forest products of Ukraine is estimated. The article analyzes the export-import potential of the forest industry of Ukraine. The article presents the relationship of the forest industry with other economic activities. The strategic directions of development of the Ukrainian FIC are: ensuring environmentally oriented and integrated use of forest resources; providing full raw materials for domestic producers; transition to integrated wood processing; modernization of enterprises; introduction of innovative, resource - and energy-saving technologies; increasing investment; improving the competitiveness of the products of the FIC; overcoming corruption in forestry.
