TRANSFORMATION OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBAL CHALLENGES AND MILITARY ECONOMY

Анотація

The article examines the current state and key trends in the development of Ukrainian industry in the context of globalization, digital transformation of the economy and military challenges. It is substantiated that the industrial sector remains the basic component of the national economy. It is determined that the transformation of Ukrainian industry should be carried out on the basis of innovative development, digitalization and implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept, which will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the economy. The paper analyzes the development of individual industries, in particular the production of agricultural machinery, the aerospace industry and railway engineering. It is established that, despite difficult conditions, the export potential is preserved, however, a significant reduction in production and export volumes is observed. The structure of agricultural machinery exports is studied and the main sales markets are identified, including European and Asian countries. The structure of freight transportation by rail is analyzed, which is characterized by a high concentration on raw materials, in particular grain and ore, the share of which exceeds 79% of the total volume. It is determined that the products of railway engineering are represented mainly by spare parts and freight cars, which form the main part of export revenues. The need for diversification of the export structure and development of production of products with high added value is substantiated. It is proven that an important factor in the restoration of industry is the development of transport infrastructure, in particular railway transport, which plays a key role in ensuring logistics processes in the conditions of a war economy. It is summarized that the further transformation of Ukraine's industry requires a comprehensive approach, including state support, attracting investments, developing innovations and intensifying international cooperation. The implementation of these areas will contribute to the restoration of industrial potential, increasing production efficiency and ensuring sustainable economic development of the country.
