Foreign Economic Activities of Ukraine: Regional Features, Trends and Directions for Development
Анотація
The article scientifically substantiates modern peculiarities and trends in the field of foreign economic activity of economic regions of Ukraine according to the main indicators. It has been established that most economic regions are export-oriented. However, the export potential is not fully realized – at present, not a single region has reached the base level of 2013 in terms of absolute growth in both export and import. The analysis of the commodity structure of exports and imports according to the international classification. It has been proven that the export of most regions is dominated by commodities with low added value, as well as labour-intensive and resource-intensive, and finished goods dominate in import. Instruments of the mechanism of economic development are proposed for restoring the status of Ukraine as an export-oriented state.
