Socio-political development of the Weimar Republic
Анотація
The Weimar Republic (1919-1933) was an important and difficult period in the history of Germany, marked by profound political, social and economic transformations. It was the time of the first German democracy, which, despite progressive reforms, faced serious challenges and eventually collapsed. The problem of the stability of democratic regimes remains relevant in the 21st century, especially in the context of global crises and increasing political polarization. The study of historical works, the analysis of documents of that time and the assessment of key events make it possible to identify the main socio-political trends of the Weimar State. This helps to understand what threats may lie in wait for modern democracies and what measures need to be taken to avoid the repetition of historical mistakes and prevent the possible collapse of democratic institutions.
