Анотація

The article is devoted to the analysis of the interrelations between the intellectual potential of the national economy and the principles of sustainable development in the context of globalization, digital transformation, and environmental challenges. It examines the key drivers of intellectual resource formation, such as education, science, innovation, and the greening of production, as well as the strategic priorities of their implementation to ensure the state’s competitive advantages. The relevance of the study is determined by the transition to a knowledge economy, where traditional resources give way to intellectual capital as the driving force of long-term growth. In today’s conditions, marked by geopolitical instability and climate threats, effective management of intellectual potential becomes critical for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly the integration of economic efficiency with environmental security and social justice. Ukraine’s domestic realities, with their structural labor market imbalances and the need for technological renewal, emphasize the necessity of a systematic approach to human capital development, as confirmed by macroeconomic indicators of countries with high investments in education and innovation. The scientific results lie in identifying the key drivers of intellectual potential growth (education, science, innovative technologies, greening of production), which provide a 15–20% increase in GDP productivity, a 25% reduction in resource costs, and resilience to crises. A model of strategic management has been developed with three priorities: “green” innovations (renewable energy, circular economy), digitalization (AI, IoT, big data), and human capital development (STEM programs, medical innovations). The prospects for further research include empirical modeling of the impact of intellectual potential on Ukraine’s macroeconomic indicators using panel data, as well as analyzing the barriers to implementing digital and green technologies in post-crisis conditions, taking into account geopolitical factors.
