SUBSTANTIATION OF INNOVATIVE DIRECTIONS OF STRUCTURAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN THE FUEL SECTOR OF UKRAINE

Structural irrationality of the energy sector is often determined by the lack of state incentives for its development, includingdue to the imperfection of the vision of directions and theoretical and methodological support for intensifying the use of existing fuel potential, identifying innovative areas of structural and technological development of the fuel industry of the country, which was the purpose of this work. The main task of this work was to determine the directions of structural and technological development of the fuel industry based on modeling the energy cycle of fossil fuels. A comparative analysis of complete (global) and current (Ukrainian) structural models of the fossil fuel energy cycle is conducted. The irrationality of the fossil fuel energy cycle in Ukraine is revealed, which consists in the mismatch of the structures of the existing energy potential and fossil fuel use, the lack of new energy production processes and energy sources from unconventional fuels in the domestic energy sector. Theoretical and methodological provisions of structural modeling of the fossil fuel energy cycle in the country are substantiated. A structural-parametric model was developed and an analysis of the energy cycle of fossil fuels in Ukraine was conducted. The directions of structural transformations in the fuel industry of the country aimed at increasing the level of energy self-sufficiency of the national economy on the basis of a promising energy cycle of fossil fuels are identified.
