Mechanism for development of green financial technologies

Анотація

The article is devoted to the study of the development of green financial technologies (fintech) as an important tool for achieving sustainable development goals. The relevance of the topic lies in the use of innovative financial technologies to solve environmental problems and promote sustainable development principles in the financial sector. The paper considers the key aspects of green fintech, its differences from sustainable financing, as well as the main areas of development and classification. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the Russian green fintech market, including a SWOT analysis, which allowed identifying the main areas of its development, in particular: involving the population and business in green financing projects, actively stimulating and supporting start-ups and innovations in the field of green fintech, developing international cooperation, especially with the BRICS countries, for the exchange of experience and technologies, etc. The author's view on the mechanism for the development of green fintech is offered, reflecting the transformation of the traditional financial mechanism under the influence of environmental trends. The importance of cooperation between fintech companies and traditional financial institutions, as well as the role of government support in the development of this area, is emphasized. The idea is to develop an integrated mechanism of green fintech that unites all participants in the fintech market for the purpose of jointly designing, developing and implementing digitalization projects and innovative technologies using green financing instruments aimed at sustainable development and environmental protection.
