MODERN PROBLEMS OF «NEW REGIONALISM» POLICY IN EUROPEAN STATES

Анотація

In the context of the investigated problem, the subject of our attention will be primarily those factors that are still at the epicentre of the political struggle, sig-nificantly influencing the political structuring of Ukrainian society. It is about an ethnic or ethno-political factor, on the one hand, and a regional factor on the other. And since they often overlap, there is every reason to link the conditions of ethno-political stability in the state as one of the key characteristics of the current state of the social organism of Ukraine. At the same time, since the ethnic factor is not articu-lated in its pure form, so to speak, i.e. the emphasis is not on ethnic confrontation, but rather on the aggravation of some signs of ethnicity in combination with the relevant regional factor, it is no less justified to talk about new challenges not only political stability, and in a certain way the existence of Ukraine itself within the geo-graphical boundaries that formed when its independence and state sovereignty were declared, so the study of such processes is important in both practical aspects [4].
