MECHANISMS FOR ENSURING SUSTAINABLE ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC GROWTH OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION AND POST-WAR RECONSTRUCTION

Анотація

The article examines financial and investment mechanisms that form the foundation for ensuring sustainable ecological and economic growth in Ukraine in the context of European integration and post-war reconstruction. The relevance of this research is defined by the complex economic situation in the country, the need to restore damaged infrastructure, and the transition to a more environmentally friendly and sustainable model of economic development. Ukraine's economic and environmental progress has been severely impacted by the russian invasion, which has caused both immediate and long-term negative effects on public health and ecosystems. This invasion also hinders hopes for establishing a "green" and socially responsible economy in Ukraine. The article explores the use of financial resources and the attraction of investments that support Ukraine's ecological and economic development. It highlights specialized mechanisms and approaches that address the specific requirements of sustainable development and the efficient use of natural resources. The study also examines budgetary expenditure areas for environmental protection and the budget structure by expenditure categories. The issues addressed include the shortage of financial resources for projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, environmental protection, developing the "green" economy, and improving infrastructure, all of which require investment from both international and national sources. In the context of integration with the European Union, an important aspect is aligning financial mechanisms with European environmental standards and sustainable development principles.
