InnOVaTIVe DeVelOpmenT as The basIs Of The ecOnOmIc mODel Of DeVelOpeD cOunTrIessummary.The article considers some aspects of the innovation model of Ukraine.The necessity of formation and development of knowledge economy is proved.Key parameters of knowledge economy in Ukraine, problems (barriers) of transition to it are defined, the comparative analysis with the developed countries is carried out.The author studies the shortcomings of the existing innovation model, in particular, the impact of the global globalization process on it, the lack of equal international relations, the low efficiency of public administration and regulation of the national economy.The state of financing of domestic science is analyzed, its main social functions are allocated, efficiency of use of the funds allocated by the state is defined.It justifies priority directions of innovative policy of the state: the development of high-tech production; ensuring a sufficient level of financing of domestic science; increase the share of innovation-active industrial enterprises, development of new equipment and technologies; development of venture business.On the base of the executed research it is clear that in conditions of the permanent crisis events the innovation activity is the most efficient way of their overcoming.The efficiency of the management is the most important due to the strategic way for the formation and the realization of the priorities of the development on the base of the innovation which means the formation of the suitable strategies and the efficient models and their implementation.Due to the results of the scientific sources summarizing the understanding of the innovation strategy development has been received.It is proved that in conditions of crisis events and the insufficient financing at the level of the region, it is good to focus on the innovation development of the priority branches to achieve the goal of the formation of the quality and competitiveness regional brands.The innovation increase of other types of the economical activity should be stimulated of the general conditions by use of the creation of the favourable innovation area and the suitable business climate.
