Formation of a reconstructive type of development and its impact on global military-economic cyclicity and Ukraine’s economic interests

Today, in the conditions of transition to an information-network economy, a global hybrid economic space is being formed, which significantly affects economic reproduction and processes associated with the reconstructive type of economic development. In the current conditions of the spread of a new technological order, an economic environment arises that is characterized by the possibility of socio-economic development both at decreasing and at zero or growing GDP rates. Such transformations in the system of social reproduction affect the cyclical dynamics, in particular, the global military-economic cyclicality, which acquires new characteristics, as well as the environment for the realization of economic interests at the national and global levels. After the end of the crisis-militaristic phases of global cycles, a new geopolitical hierarchy is established in the capitalist world-system, which determines new rules of international economic relations, and hence new conditions for the realization of the economic interests of geopolitical actors. In historical retrospect, there is a cyclical change in state economic policy aimed at improving social quality of life, and therefore promoting the full realization of people’s economic interests, in the conditions of post-war recovery and growth, via militaristic economic policy in the period of the crisis-militaristic phases of military-economic cycles. Regardless of how the configuration of the global geopolitical system changes after the end of the next global crisis-militaristic stage, the realization of Ukraine's economic interests will take place in difficult conditions of instability and radical transformations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This requires the intensification of the activities of social institutions, primarily the state, to ensure the internal stability of the Ukrainian political and economic system by overcoming deep social contradictions in order to consolidate Ukrainian society, stabilize the economy, and promote its further reconstructive development.
