Prospect of development of the combined transport
Анотація
This article is devoted to the creation of international piggyback’s routes that provide effective communication between Asia and Europe trough Ukraine and integrate regional centers of production and consumption in different countries. Technology of exploitation in “the space 1520 mm and 1435 mm” has been designed which takes into account the technical requirements and restrictions for use on the piggyback terminals. The characteristics of typical schemes terminal cargo front 1050m long and 525m have been considered. Capital investments, operating costs have been calculated and the economic effect has been determined. The best option of piggyback terminal has been selected on the basis of a comparison of two variants of design. Development of piggyback transport is a perspective direction in a building of the transport system of Ukraine, whereas it increases the volume of traffic through its territory with participation of the national transport companies
