Vectors for increasing the adaptability and competitiveness of corporate sector enterprises in conditions of instability

The article examines the functioning of corporate sector enterprises under conditions of increased economic instability caused by macroeconomic fluctuations, transformation of the market environment, intensification of competition, and growing uncertainty. It is substantiated that under such conditions, the key factors ensuring sustainable development of corporate enterprises are their adaptability to changes in the external and internal environment, as well as the ability to maintain and strengthen competitive positions in the market. The study systematizes scientific approaches to the interpretation of the concepts of “adaptability” and “competitiveness” of corporate sector enterprises and determines their interrelation in the context of strategic management. The main factors influencing the level of adaptive capacity of corporate structures are identified, including organizational flexibility, quality of corporate governance, financial stability, innovation activity, and efficiency of resource management. A system of vectors for enhancing adaptability and competitiveness of corporate sector enterprises is proposed. These vectors include improvement of organizational and economic management mechanisms, development of strategic and anti-crisis management, digitalization of business processes, increasing investment attractiveness, and formation of partnership relations with stakeholders. The expediency of a comprehensive approach to the implementation of these vectors as a prerequisite for ensuring sustainable functioning of corporate enterprises in the long term is substantiated. The results of the study can be used in the management practice of corporate sector enterprises, as well as in the development of development strategies and programs aimed at increasing competitiveness under conditions of economic instability.
