IRREVERSIBILITY AND CYCLICITY OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROCESSES

Vasilisa Podlesnaya

Анотація

The author justifies that the socio-economic cycles are a form of self-development processes of the open social systems and they allow reducing the entropy caused by the accumulation of dialectical contradictions generated by the differences in the pace of technical-technological, institutional and socio-economic changes. For a process to be recognized cyclic, it is necessary that it involve resumption of certain self-development phases of a natural or socio-economic system, and the number of phases and the form of their deployment for different cycles may be different. As the concrete historical conditions of the phases in a socio-economic cycle differ, perfectly reversible or irreversible socio-economic processes are impossible, that is, there exist conventionally reversible circular cycles and conventionally irreversible cyclic processes. Keywords: socio-economic cycles, conventionally reversible cycles, conventionally irreversible cycles.
