Economic regulation of logistics support for the stabilisation of the agri-food market in Ukraine

Introduction. The sustainability of the agri-food market in Ukraine is largely determined by the level of development and efficiency of logistics support, which ensures the continuity of product flows at all stages – from production to final consumption. Logistics serves as a system-forming element of agri-food supply chains, as it ensures the coordination of production, processing, and distribution processes, cost optimisation, and the timeliness of product delivery. Methods (Methodology). The study employs a combination of general scientific and specialised research methods. In particular, the abstract-logical method is used to generalise the theoretical foundations of economic regulation of logistics support in the agri-food market. Economic-statistical and comparative methods are applied to analyse the dynamics of logistics processes, market indicators, and to identify development trends in the agri-food sector. A systems approach and economic modelling methods are also utilised to substantiate directions for improving the mechanisms of logistics support for market stabilisation. Results. Economic regulation of logistics support is identified as a key factor in stabilising the agri-food market of Ukraine under wartime conditions, ensuring the continuity of supply chains, food security, and the adaptability of the agricultural sector. Market efficiency is determined by the level of development of logistics infrastructure, the coordination of processes, and the quality of the institutional environment, which necessitates the comprehensive application of financial-economic, institutional, and infrastructural regulatory instruments. Further improvement of these mechanisms will contribute to cost reduction, risk minimisation, and the formation of a resilient and competitive agri-food market model in the context of European integration and post-war recovery.
