ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF INFORMATION-ANALYTICAL SYSTEMS OF EVALUATION OF RATINGS OF BANKS

Анотація

The article is devoted to current problems of development and operation of information-analytical systems of evaluation of banks ratings. Different methods of calculating ratings of banks - classical used by rating agencies in their daily practice as well as proprietory theoretical and methodological studies presented in modern economic literature have been considered. Special attention in the article is paid to the problem of authenticity of ranking a financial institution, as various individual methods and calculations are used which lead to obtaining differing results. The lack of accountability makes recommendations about the reliability of such information of little use for a primary investor. It has been revealed that ratings today are based on estimates of financial institutions and do not take into account separate investment products.
