The article presents a review of the literature on international standards and regulatory frameworks for the social protection of the civilian population in situations of armed conflict, as well as the Ukrainian legislative framework for the social protection of the civilian population. The analysis and interpretation of normative documents regarding the passing of a medical and social examination during the period of martial law in the country and the social protection of the civilian population, which suffered and became disabled as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation, are provided. Наведено аналіз та тлумачення нормативних документів стосовно проходження медико-соціальної експертизи у період військового стану в країні та соціального захист цивільного населення, яке постраждало та стало особами з інвалідністю внаслідок агресії рф. Ключові слова: соціальний захист цивільного населення, збройний конфлікт, медико-соціальна експертиза.
