Formation of Metallurgy Industry Development Scenarios Based on Energy Efficiency and Digitalization of Production

Анотація

This paper substantiates the energy efficiency and digitization of production when forming scenarios for the development of the metallurgical industry, and proposes integrated solutions for optimizing energy consumption in industrial systems. The paper presents three development scenarios for the metallurgy industry, assessing economic and environmental factors. These factors, including energy efficiency and digitalization of production, are important can increase the industry's competitive advantage by increasing efficiency and reducing waste. The study constructed an “Energy-Metallurgy: Production-Consumption” diagram and it was founded that certain energy-efficient technologies are successfully used in the steel industry, including high-efficiency furnaces, waste heat recovery systems, and advanced control systems. The article emphasizes that these technologies can significantly reduce energy consumption and improve the environmental performance of the industry. Analysis of the feedback diagram of the components of the "Energymetallurgy: production-consumption" system provides grounds for the development of strategic scenarios regarding the ways of mutual support of the two largest economic sectors of Ukraine - metallurgy and energy. The implementation of energy-efficient technologies in the steel industry is also expected to promote innovation and improve competitiveness. Companies that invest in energy-efficient technologies can differentiate themselves from their competitors, leading to increased market share and increased revenue.
