Assessment of the competitiveness of tourist insurance in insurance companies
Анотація
The essence of travel insurance is analyzed in the article. Key indicators of the competitiveness of travel insurance in insurance companies have been identified with using the method of multivariate factor analysis. A new method of calculation of integral indicator of competitiveness and a methodical approach to the definition of the insurance company’s competitiveness class is proposed with using of cluster and discriminatory analysis. In the first stage, cluster analysis was used which allow to divide insurance companies into the classes of competitiveness. Classification functions were developed based on discriminant analysis. These functions can be used to assess the competitiveness of insurance companies that are not included in the sample, but required analysis and development of measures to improve the competitiveness of travel insurance
