THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK FOR INVESTMENT AND INNOVATION PROCESSES OF TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT

Анотація

The article aims to summarize the theoretical aspects and approaches of defining the essence of investment and innovation processes of territorial development in order to form a favorable business environment and manage the region’s socio-economic development. After analyzing, systematizing, and summarizing the researches of scientists who studied the investment and innovation processes of the territories as well as their legal and regulatory framework, it became possible to systemize the views and approaches regarding this concept. An analysis of the legislative and regulatory framework, which ensures the regulation of the investment and innovation activities in Ukraine and is aimed to influence the investment and innovation development of the territories has been done. The research has defined the difference of investment and innovation development in comparison with other territorial development concepts. It was determined that the planning of the investment and innovation development of the territories need to be held predominantly in the long term. The signs and stages of innovation processes have been highlighted. The structure of subjects and ways of ensuring the investment processes were defined. The author has indicated a group of entities that ensure the implementation of separate stages of the investment and innovation development of the territory in the context of their connection with the stages of implementation of state or local strategies of the territorial development. As a result of the study, the measures that will help to stimulate investment and innovation processes in the development of territories were pointed out. The article offers the authors interpretation of the essence of investment and innovation processes in the territorial development as processes of study, organization, and coordination of main interests and activities of macroeconomic entities (households, business entities, state) in order to develop economic infrastructure and create a favorable external environment for business innovations and their effective financing.
