Analysis of the Current State of Domestic Freight Forwarding Enterprises in the Context of Logistics Activities

Анотація

Abstract. Introduction. The article determines that their logistical activity is crucial for the effective functioning of domestic freight forwarding companies. Logistic activity is central to the main business processes of enterprises under study.
\nPurpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the current state of domestic freight forwarding companies in the context of logistics activities.
\nResults. The authors found that, according to modern requirements, the services of transport and forwarding companies are quite common. They act as a link between consumers, suppliers, and manufacturers. The main problems that hinder the stable development of domestic freight forwarding companies, which are both external and internal, have been identified. In particular, the main problems are poor road conditions in Ukraine, significant overhead associated with logistics activities, the lack of modern automated logistics management systems at most enterprises, the outdated fleet of most domestic freight forwarding companies, and the constant increase in the cost of freight forwarding. – lubricants. 
\nAccording to the results of the SWOT analysis, it is established that, despite the great number of problems, the freight forwarding market in Ukraine has good prospects for further development. The main thing for the enterprises of this field is to improve logistics activities. Its effective implementation will help to optimize costs, improve the quality of services provided, competitiveness and overall efficiency of domestic freight forwarding companies.
\nConclusions. It is proposed to intensify innovative activity in this field to increase the efficiency of the logistic activity of domestic enterprises of freight forwarding services. In particular, promising is the introduction of Warehouse Management System (WMS), as well as the study and inheritance of foreign experience based on which to provide automation and robotization of the entire logistics chain.
