THE ROLE OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS IN THE INTERACTION OF BUSINESS AND EDUCATION AS DRIVERS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION
Анотація
The article explores the role of digital platforms in the interaction of business and education as drivers of innovative development of the region. It is proven that digital transformation changes approaches to regional development, forming new mechanisms for the circulation of knowledge and creating conditions for overcoming spatial limitations. It analyzes current trends in the use of digital platforms as a key tool for integrating business and the education sector, which is gaining particular importance for Ukraine in the context of post-war reconstruction and technological adaptation. It is determined that the relevance of the study is due to the need for scientific substantiation of digital coordination models capable of ensuring balanced regional development. Theoretical substantiation and development of a model of the influence of digital platforms on regionally coordinated development through institutional mechanisms for interaction between business and education have been carried out. The content of the concept of a digital platform as an institutional system of coordination of interests that ensures the transfer of knowledge and innovations has been clarified. The main types of platform solutions that contribute to the development of human capital and increasing the adaptability of regional economies have been systematized. It is demonstrated that due to the rigidity of the traditional academic sector in Ukraine, a “parallel education system” (EdTech initiatives, Diia.Education) has been formed, which responds more quickly to the needs of the labor market. At the same time, the analysis revealed the fragmentation of the Ukrainian digital educational landscape and the lack of institutional mechanisms for the recognition of microqualifications in accordance with the European Qualifications Framework standards. It is proven that digital tools transform the educational environment into a flexible infrastructure capable of eliminating geographical barriers. The key limitations of digital transformation that restrain its potential as a mechanism for regional convergence are systematized: deepening digital inequality, uneven ability of regions to integrate digital knowledge, institutional fragmentation, low adaptability of peripheral economies, and risks of platform dependence. It is concluded that digital platforms can act as a catalyst for regional synergy, provided that a targeted policy is adopted to develop digital ecosystems, modernize partnerships between business and education, and enhance interregional knowledge flows. Their integration into regional strategies is identified as an important factor in the transition to an innovative growth model and ensuring the global competitiveness of regions.
