FEATURES OF THE USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES IN THE CONTEXT OF FOOD SECURITY

Анотація

The article considers theoretical and practical aspects of innovative implementation of digital tools in the activities of agricultural enterprises as a key factor in strengthening food security in Ukraine. It is substantiated that the digitalization of the agricultural sector contributes to increasing the efficiency of resource use, optimizing production processes, reducing crop losses, improving product quality control and increasing the level of its technological openness. The international experience of using digital technologies to strengthen food security is studied. A PEST analysis of the development of the digital agribusiness ecosystem to strengthen food security is conducted. The features of institutional support and state regulation of the processes of digital transformation of agricultural production are considered. The main areas of application of digital technologies in the context of food security are identified, including: the use of precision farming systems, big data analytics (Big Data), the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud platforms and geographic information systems for monitoring land conditions and predicting yields. The barriers to the digital transformation of the agricultural sector are analyzed, in particular the technological, financial and personnel limitations. The system of indicators used for quantitative and qualitative assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of innovative solutions in the agricultural sector of the economy is analyzed. A set of measures is proposed to form an innovative and digital ecosystem in agricultural production as a strategic basis for strengthening the state's food security. The importance of combining state support, educational programs and business-science partnerships in this process is emphasized. The importance of developing the innovative culture and human resources potential for the digital transformation of agricultural enterprises is substantiated. The conclusions are drawn that the digital transformation of the agricultural sector not only contributes to its innovative development, but also ensures food independence, competitiveness in world markets and sustainable development of the national economy in the face of global challenges.
