Анотація

Objective: According to statistics in Ukraine in 2013 about 12 million people suffers from hypertension. In our country high prevalence of hypertension among the population led to an increased prevalence of cardiovascular diseases during 1991–2011 pp. three times. Mortality from cardiovascular disease is 66.3% of the total mortality So in April 2012, at the initiative of the Ukraine Cabinet of Ministers was launched a pilot project on the introduction of state regulation of prices for medicines to treat people with hypertension. Design and method: For realization of pilot project in 2014 State of Ukraine has allocated 138891100 UAH. Used costs (01.01.2015) amounted 117813464 UAH (94.3%) The list of drugs involved in the pilot project:enalapril, lisinopril, amlodipine, nifedipine, metoprolol, bisoprolol, nebivalol and combined drugs: enalapril in combination with hydrochlorothiazide, lisino-pril in combination with hydrochlorothiazide, amlodipine in combination with lisinopril. Results: Due to the pilot project, which started again in July 2014 notable the striking results of it.Regularly treating began 45% of people with hypertension, it is allowed to reduce the incidence of stroke in 2014 compared with 2012 to 18.1 % of calls to emergency medical care for hypertensive crises by 27.4%. By active implementation of the pilot project the number of people who treated from AH in rural areas accounted for only 8% and 14% in the city. The percentage of patients with essential hypertension whom involved to the pilot project is 61.65%, which is higher than the average level of treatment. These patients received medical care and treatment with a significant percentage reimbursement of antihypertensive drugs, especially important for socially disadvantaged groups. The results of the work done in 2014 shows a significant commitment of patients to treatment. Conclusions: Summing up the experience of the Pilot Project in Ukraine at the moment, people with hypertension desperate needed of continuation of the project in the form of some social program. This is justified by the fact that for people from socially disadvantaged groups it is the only opportunity for actively continue treatment of hypertension and prevent complications of the cardiovascular system.
