INTEGRATION OF RISK MANAGEMENT INTO THE SYSTEM OF STRATEGIC BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Анотація
The article explores the integration of risk management into strategic business management as a response to increasing uncertainty and volatility in the external environment. The study emphasizes that risk should not be perceived solely as a threat but as a structural element of strategic decision-making. The authors analyze and compare key models such as COSO ERM, ISO 31000, and strategic risk management frameworks, outlining their applicability to business strategy. Particular attention is given to digital tools, predictive analytics, and the use of key risk indicators (KRI) for proactive decision-making. The study also examines the role of ESG risks and international standards in shaping a risk-aware business culture. Based on the findings, the paper identifies promising directions for further research, including adaptive risk modelling, integration of AI tools, and development of national methodologies for risk-based strategy in Ukraine’s post-crisis economy.
