The impact of digital transformation on innovation and economic development efficiency in the high-tech sector

Digital transformation is gradually moving from the level of individual innovations to the level of a systemic phenomenon that determines the conditions of competition, the speed of creating new products and the ability of the economy to renew itself. In these conditions, traditional growth factors such as capital, labor, material resources are increasingly supplemented by digital assets, data and technological platforms, which become key sources of added value. The high-tech sector acts as a kind of environment in which these changes are most clearly manifested. The purpose of the presented work is to determine the features of the digital impact on innovations and the efficiency of economic development in the high-tech sector. The main methods used in the work are: logical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, methods of induction and deduction, generalization method, comparison method, mathematical methods for substantiating the presented research results, graphical method for visual display of individual research results. Integration of artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and other solutions allows to significantly shorten the cycle of innovation creation, increase the accuracy of management decisions and ensure flexibility in responding to changes in the global market. As a result, the effectiveness of economic development increasingly depends not on the scale of resources, but on the ability to quickly transform them into new technological solutions. At the same time, digital transformation does not have a clearly linear impact. Along with obvious advantages, it is accompanied by increased competition, increased technological dependence and the need for constant updating of competencies. Digital transformation is a key factor determining the current dynamics of innovation and the effectiveness of economic development in the high-tech sector. It not only accelerates the creation and implementation of new technologies, but also changes approaches to resource management, increasing the flexibility and competitiveness of economic systems. At the same time, its impact depends on the ability of business entities to adapt to the digital environment, develop relevant competencies and effectively integrate innovations.
