Analysis of the current state, structure and dynamics of innovation activity of large-scale economic and production systems

The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state, structure, and dynamics of innovation activity in large-scale economic and production systems under conditions of intensified technological change, digitalization, and growing global competition. It is substantiated that innovation activity in such systems is a key factor in ensuring their long-term sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness. The study examines the structural features of innovation activity, including the ratio of product and process innovations, the level of technological modernization of production, as well as the role of digital and intelligent technologies in shaping the innovation potential of large-scale systems. The dynamics of innovation activity are analyzed with regard to changes in financing, the organization of research and development activities, human resource provision, and the integration of innovations into production and management processes. The main trends in the development of innovation activity are identified, including the increasing importance of digital platforms, automation, intersectoral cooperation, and network-based forms of interaction. Particular attention is paid to the problems and imbalances of innovation development, which are manifested in the uneven implementation of innovations, the high capital intensity of innovation projects, and dependence on external economic and institutional factors. The results of the study provide a generalized understanding of the current state and trends of innovation activity in large-scale economic and production systems and can be used to develop managerial decisions aimed at intensifying innovation processes and improving the effectiveness of their implementation.
