General principles and principles of psychocorrection and psychological support of co-dependent persons who are married to an HIV-infected consumer of injecting drugs

The purpose of the work is to substantiate the principles of psychocorrection and psychological support of persons who are married to an HIV-infected consumer of injecting drugs. Contingent and methods. In the period from 2010 to 2017, on the basis of the Vinnytsia Regional Drug Treatment Center Sociotherapy, a clinical-psychopathological and psychodiagnostic survey of 113 HIV-infected IDUs and their marital partners was conducted. As a result, it has been established that the presence of mental and behavioral disorders as well as distortions in the personality and behavioral spheres of the marital partners of HIV-infected IDUs manifests the manifestation of the co-dependence of these individuals. The spectrum of mental disorders (depressive and personality) indicates a predominantly psychogenic and personality level of symptoms. Low levels of stress, non-harmonic combination of accentuated rice and individual psychological properties, as well as additional psycho-traumatic factors (the presence of HIV infection in spouses, refusal of patients from substitution therapy) contribute to the emergence of not only mental and behavioral disorders in marital partners of HIV-infected IDUs, but It provokes the development of psychosocial and family disadaptation in them. The obtained data should be taken into account when realizing measures of psycho-correction and psychological support of this contingent.
