RISK-ORIENTED STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN DECENTRALIZED APPLICATIONS: FROM TOKENIZATION TO SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODELS

The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the transformation of decentralized applications (DApps) from initial models of tokenization to sustainable business ecosystems with an emphasis on risk-oriented strategic management. The problem of the gap between the mechanisms of attracting capital through tokenization and the creation of long-term value in a decentralized environment is considered. The authors analyze the ecosystem architecture of DApps through the prism of technical standardization (ERC-20) and business networks, revealing the key role of the institutional environment in the development of blockchain projects. The dual nature of the monetary infrastructure of DApps, where cryptocurrencies and traditional financial instruments function at the same time, is investigated. The mediating role of cryptocurrency exchanges as strategically important elements connecting developers and investors, as well as cryptocurrency and traditional financial systems, has been revealed. Particular attention is paid to the blockchain as an institutional technology capable of transforming existing models of economic interaction through the reduction of transaction costs and the minimization of opportunistic behavior. A complex matrix of strategic risk management in DApps is proposed, taking into account technical, economic, organizational and regulatory levels. A typology of management strategies for tokenized models with different approaches to the balance of decentralization and value creation has been developed, including protocol infrastructure, DeFi services, decentralized markets and hybrid ecosystems. For each type of strategy, the characteristics, value creation focus, implementation examples and key success factors are defined. The study contributes to the understanding of the mechanisms of transformation of tokenization models into sustainable business structures and offers approaches to the integration of decentralized technologies into strategic risk management, taking into account the relationship between the structural and institutional aspects of the development of the DApps ecosystem.
