Анотація
Abstract The organization of most of the air-transport lines of the country is patterned somewhat after the organization of the railroads, as it is only a newer and faster method of moving persons or things. The number of air-transport lines is increasing with each year. The twenty-five existing lines are supported by private capital. An average of 42,000 miles is flown over these lines every 24 hours. The Department of Commerce has completed the lighting on over 9000 miles of the 20,000 miles of airways now in operation.
