POSSIBILITIES CHINESE-UKRAINIAN INVESTMENT COOPERATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE «ECONOMIC ZONE OF THE SILK ROAD»

Анотація

<p>This article deals with the analysis of modern aspects of economic cooperation between Ukraine and People's Republic of China, the presentation of prerequisites for creating attractive political and legal foundation for its activation, the analysis of the mainindicesof business activity and investment operations between the states. It describes the content of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” initiative that foresees the reinforcement of the coordination of the participant countries in the political sphere; the activation of the development of the united infrastructure network;the harmonization of the trade regimes, the unification of the trade procedures; the increase in the currency turnover, particularly by means of use of the national currencies of the participant countries; the strengthening of the role of “economic diplomacy”, the increase in the tourist flows, the expansion of the cultural cooperation. <br />Such a project, it is stated in the article, will allow to create new economic corridors and to modernize the existing ones- transportation lines (motorways, railways, airports, marine terminals, etc.) as well as to improve the accompany in ginfrastructure (including logistics centers, warehouse terminals, etc.). It gives the assessment of perspectives of the extension of the Chinese-Ukrainian investment cooperation and the estimation of the existing problems which interfere with the implementation of all the possible courses of development of intergovernmental projects. Proposals concerning possibilities of Ukraine’s integration into the “Silk Road Economic Belt” initiative are put forward and its economic expediency is justified.<br />The authors give attention to already executed Ukrainian-Chinese projects, to these which are currently implementing and to the promising ones with the analysis of the economic indicators, figures concerning their volumes and essence.</p>
