Анотація

The article is devoted to the study of the evolution of organizational structures of enterprises in the context of the formation of a knowledge economy and the transition to the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), within which knowledge and intellectual capital acquire the status of a key factor of production and innovative development. It is substantiated that in modern socio-economic conditions there is a decrease in the marginal efficiency of material capital and an increase in the role of intangible assets, in particular human, structural and relational capital. The article focuses on the contradictions of modern management theory and practice, which consists in attempts to manage intellectual labor and knowledge using outdated hierarchical organizational structures formed in the industrial era. The scientific approaches of Ukrainian scientists to the interpretation of the essence of the knowledge economy, human and intellectual capital are analyzed, and the insufficient level of theoretical substantiation of the transformation of organizational structures through the prism of innovative development is also determined. It is proven that the effective use of intellectual capital requires a transition from traditional functional and linear-hierarchical management models to flexible, network, project and combined organizational structures capable of ensuring horizontal interaction, knowledge exchange and organizational learning. The work reveals the content and interrelationship of the main components of intellectual capital – human, structural and relational – and substantiates their synergistic impact on the innovative activity of the organization. An approach to considering intellectual capital as the core of a modern organization is proposed, which ensures the generation of innovative ideas, their commercialization and scaling. It is concluded that the evolution of organizational structures and the development of intellectual capital are interdependent processes, the effectiveness of which determines the adaptability, competitiveness and sustainable innovative development of enterprises in the conditions of global competition and high uncertainty of the external environment.
