IMPACT OF GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISES ON UKRAINE'S WELFARE

Анотація

The article covers the emergence of global economic crises that had the greatest impact on the economic situation in Ukraine. The author investigates the relationship between a particular global economic crisis, the periods of Ukrainian development and the peculiarities of its economy. The process of transformation of the global economy into the national economies of countries in general can cause not only positive changes, but also negative ones, which will further affect the functioning of different systems in the country. Therefore, the relevance of studying the stages of economic crises in Ukraine, their causes and consequences is a prerequisite for preventing miscalculations in economic development in the future. The article briefly outlines the causes of the largest economic crises in the world. While revealing the essence of the crises, their preconditions, spheres and forms of spread are identified. The article identifies and analyses the main consequences of the crisis phenomena for the economy, which had the greatest impact on the future welfare of Ukraine. The stages of the global crises are reflected, which are compared with the stages of the Ukrainian economic crises and certain common features are identified. The forms and spheres of crisis manifestation in the USSR are characterised and their significance for the development of the Ukrainian economy is briefly noted. The author describes the internal preconditions of the Ukrainian crisis, which were described in the contradictions between the potential of the systems and methods of management, in the low energy supply of Ukraine, and in backward production technologies. According to the disclosed essence of each crisis, the author analyses the mistakes in the country’s decisions to resolve crisis situations and provides priority recommendations for anti-crisis regulation in the country. The developed ways of overcoming the economic crisis of Ukraine in terms of supporting internal economic processes and integration into the global economic space are also presented. The content of the most relevant anti-crisis measures is disclosed. The article also emphasises the positive economic developments that took place in Ukraine before the political crisis and the military invasion of Russia in 2014.
