THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF INTERPRETING THE ESSENCE OF ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE IN ECONOMIC SCIENCE
Анотація
The paper synthesizes key theoretical approaches to defining road infrastructure as a component of transport infrastructure and as an economic asset that supports mobility, spatial integration, and the reduction of logistics and transaction costs. Core definitions are systematized, and the specifics of Ukraine’s regulatory framework are outlined, where the notions of “transport infrastructure” and “road infrastructure” are often presented indirectly through lists of infrastructure objects. A multidimensional interpretation is proposed through functional, structural, technical, economic, safety, environmental, and social perspectives
