INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT PROJECT CATEGORIES ON THE ENTROPY OF A PROJECT-ORIENTED ORGANIZATION

Анотація

The purpose is to study the impact of different categories of projects on the entropy of a project-oriented organization. The project portfolio of a projectoriented organization includes two sets: the first is projects that correspond to current activities; the second is development projects. Method. To achieve the purpose, the main provisions of the entropy theory of organization are used. Results. Projects that correspond to operational activities affect the energy of the organization, the information entropy and the relative energy efficiency, which is determined by energy efficiency. Development projects have a similar impact, but at the end of them there are changes in these indicators for the organization as a whole. In the work, each project is evaluated in two aspects -local and global. It is established that the task of forming a portfolio of projects involves not only the actual formation of its structure, but also the location of projects within the planning period so as to ensure compliance with the requirements of sustainability, efficiency, resources. Given this approach, the following local and global characteristics of ongoing and development projects are mathematically described: project life cycle, part of related energy, energy entropy, information entropy, energy efficiency and required resources. It is established that the aftereffect of development projects is that at the time of completion of a project there is a jump in the main characteristics of the organization. Scientific novelty. A new interpretation of the concept of "development project" is given within the framework of entropy methodology, which assumes the result of development as an impact on entropy by influencing its forming parameters. It is established that as a result of the implementation of development projects at the time of their completion, in contrast to current projects, there are "jumps" that cause a fundamental change in the current level of entropy and its dynamics. Practical significance. The presented ideas and the theoretical provisions formulated on their basis correspond to the entropy theory of the organization. Further development of the presented results is the development of a model of project portfolio formation of a project-oriented organization, which will determine the optimal composition of the portfolio of projects of two categoriescurrent projects and development projects.
