HYBRID AGILE MODELS IN OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF ORGANIZATIONS
Анотація
In the context of an increasingly dynamic economic environment, the digitalization of business processes, and growing uncertainty, traditional operations management models are gradually losing their universality. This creates a need for new management approaches that ensure flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly to environmental changes. One key trend in modern management is the adoption of flexible management methodologies, particularly the Agile approach and its frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. Integrating these methodologies gives rise to hybrid management models for organizing operational processes. This study aims to establish the conceptual basis of hybrid Agile models in organizational operations management and determine how to combine different management approaches based on task nature and environmental uncertainty levels. This article analyzes the evolution of flexible management systems, highlighting the transition from Agile approaches used by small project teams to their large-scale implementation in various organizational activities. It identifies methodological inconsistencies in the modern interpretation of flexible management approaches, particularly the mixing of different levels of managerial concepts. The article proposes a logical approach to systematizing key concepts: Lean is considered a meta-level of organizational principles, Agile is considered a flexible management philosophy and set of adaptive frameworks, Kanban is considered a practical tool for managing operational workflows, and Scrum is considered a basic teamwork organization framework. A managerial matrix for selecting hybrid approaches is developed that allows for the combination of Agile, Lean, and Kanban methods, depending on the level of predictability and whether tasks are oriented toward projects or operations. The development of hybrid Agile models is proven to be a natural stage in the evolution of operations management. Combining Scrum as a core framework with Lean and Kanban tools enables organizations to adapt management practices to uncertain environments, improve business process organization, and enhance managerial efficiency.
