METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE ASSESSMENT OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC SYSTEMS

Анотація

The article is dedicated to the study of methodological approaches to evaluating socio-economic systems.The purpose of the research is to comprehensively investigate a wide range of methodological approaches that can be implemented in the process of evaluating the characteristics of social and economic systems.The article provides a reasoned study of the concept of socio-economic systems, with a special emphasis on evaluating their effectiveness in the context of economic security of enterprises in Ukraine.Critical aspects that affect the functioning of economic security mechanisms in enterprises have been analyzed.As a result of the study, several key problems that hinder the effective functioning of the economic security system have been identified.Currently, the economic security of the country and its assurance systems are crucial not only in shaping the country's international image but also in maintaining effective cooperation with other states.This creates favorable conditions for Ukrainian enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity, which influence the internal economic situation of the country and its sovereignty as a whole.The assessment and reduction of risks to national economic security are carried out through comprehensive analysis of the functioning of all sectors of the economy, particularly the public sector, which significantly affects the indicators of national economic security. 9(9) 2024 972 It has been found that the national economic security system includes numerous subsystems, among which the economic security of individual enterprises plays a key role.Their level of security depends on the nature of their activities, potential, the specificity of their products or services, market conditions, target audience, trade systems, pricing, and more.In this context, an important task is to analyze the state of socio-economic systems as one of the factors in improving the overall economic security of the state.The evaluation of socio-economic systems demonstrates a multilayered process that requires the use of various methodological approaches.The choice of a specific research methodology largely depends on the purpose of the research, the type and quality of available data, as well as the specific characteristics of the system being evaluated.The study shows that the evaluation of socio-economic systems requires an integrated approach that combines both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods.The main approaches to evaluation, such as systems analysis, modeling, comparative analysis, and the indicator approach, have provided a deeper understanding of the functioning of socioeconomic systems and their impact on the economic security of enterprises.The use of this method allows for identifying problem areas, changing weak spots, and responding promptly to threats.
