FORECASTING DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN THE IT INDUSTRY IN UKRAINE

Анотація

The article argues the relevance and necessity of studying the development of the IT sector as one of the key sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The significance and advantages of the IT sector are substantiated. An analysis of recent scientific works on this issue has shown the need for further scientific research into the determinants, trends and prospects for the development of the IT industry of Ukraine in difficult war conditions. The aim of the article is to develop scientific and methodological approaches to forecasting trends and prospects for the development of the IT industry of Ukraine. The article examines the development trends of the Ukrainian IT industry in the context of war and global economic challenges. The main ones are: digital transformation, development of the technological ecosystem, increasing the strategic role in the European digital space, synergy between leading technology companies and a new generation of startups. The characteristics of the Ukrainian IT sector, the main reasons and factors that influenced changes during the analyzed period are determined. The forecast of the development indicators of the Ukrainian IT industry for the period until 2027 is made, taking into account statistical data for previous years, as well as growth dynamics based on global trends in the IT sector. Forecasting the export indicators of IT services in the export of goods and services showed a tendency to further growth, taking into account stable demand and potential for growth provided that the economic situation improves. The forecast of the number of operating legal entities providing IT services also showed a tendency to growth. The dynamics of indicators of access and use of information and communication technologies is positive and indicates an increase in these indicators. It was established that the Ukrainian IT market has significant prospects for investments by international business. Based on the results obtained, the predicted trends in the development of the IT industry in Ukraine are characterized. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of determining the prospects for the growth of the IT industry in Ukraine by developing an appropriate strategy for its development, taking into account the instability of the economic situation in the country.
